From Vauxhall NJ where I first heard a DJ by the name of George Potter who helped me create my first mix with two turn tables at the age of 13. Then there was Mark Thompson who helped me polish up my skills on blending. Other mentors to me are Vernon Roberts, Phase III Disco aka DJ Butch, and Larry Morman. But it was when I went to my first night club New Experience and listened to Mark Thompson mix with 3 turntables and a reel to reel and said this will be me someday. Then there was the Paradise Garage, what an experience. Larry Levan is a one of kind. It was when I heard him for the first time and learned it’s not about the mix but about the music and how you control the music. I took that being said to Germany where I spent 4 ½ years in the army DJ’ing around Europe in several night clubs and raves. The way you control the music puts you in complete control of the crowed. So I would just like to say to up and coming DJ’s out there, it’s not always your mix but the song you play and how you play it. The right song played the right way will always move crowed!!

ATTENTION! Please be aware I no longer post mixes on house-mixes. If you have happened to have recently discovered me or listened to me before, you can find me still posting mixes on soundcloud & mixcloud. Been spinning since 88 and after a 10yr absence I returned a few years back to start mixing again. Before my "retirement", I played at a number of clubs and had residencies at the "infamous" Legends in Old Burlington St and at the Emporium in Soho. I currently mix for fun, but if the right opportunity presented itself Imight be interested in playing out again. My style of mixing is (I like to think) smooth, Itry to take the listener on a rhythmical adventure / journey. I particularly enjoy creating something between the mixes (when possible!) rather than simply going from deck to deck, so if you find yourself; a) loving the tunes, b) having an irresistable urge to dance and c) then realise you haven`t got a clue which tune you`re listening to, then I`m doing my job. My musical style usually falls into 3 categories; deep,soulful or nu disco but always funky. Would love to hear your comments on my mixes, don`t be shy. Click "Follow" and i will send you a notification (only) when i post a new mix. Don`t worry i do not notify as to what i am eating or watching on tv ala Facebook. It all started back in the 80's when I casually collected 12" records beginning in the 7th/8th grade (yes, seriously); eventually, I got the DJ bug in '92 while I was stationed in the Air Force in Germany. Born & raised in Chicago, I grew up listening to the usual suspects in the Chicago House scene (Ron, Frankie, Farley, etc.) but, the truth is, I was exposed to multiple genres of music (jazz, funk, blues, country, reggae, etc.) from the time I was 1st able to process it to the present. I can switch it up from Disco to House to Techno to Drum & Bass & anything/everything in between at the drop of a hat; it's all about what I'm feelin' at the moment. If this sounds like something U can roll with, then it is very fortunate we have crossed paths and you are most welcome 2 find what suits your tastes here. How it started: There was an idea created late 2011 by three enthousiastic DJ's; Danny Terbruggen, A.K.A. Dann, Roy Schumans A.K.A Charo and John Debets A.K.A. Dee Jones, who formed a music group called "Ibiza Vibrations". Each of them played a various style of music, House, Tech-house, Latin-house, Progressive and Trance. In most of the clubs today you listen the common tunes which can be heared on the radio or, the deep underground styles like techno or minimal. Another reason was, a lot of "older youngsters" (in the ages between 25 - 35) complain because of the music anymore in the clubs and the young kids up from 16 years. Also women like to listen vocals and when even possible some live-entertainment with an nice ambiance. So these guys like to change all of that, good music, lot of vocals, nice ambiance and a nice atmosphere. It was on 10 december 2011 at club-Zathura in Brunssum (HOLLAND) when they started their first club night, Not complete sold-out but the people who visit, were exited and enjoyed the complete night and the guys knew from this moment -this is it-, music, friendship, fun and magic! Ibiza Vibrations from the beginning had a goal, they like to entertain people; specaly women and for this they changed everything what was common in DJ land. No boring DJ sets of 1:30 hrs., no-commercial music or cheap cheesy tunes, but pumping beats who make your feet move with the best tracks of the moment, unforgetable oldtimers and lots of vocals and melodys, that is IBIZA VIBRATIONS!!!

ENGLISH BIO: Jernej Lavrenčič aka. DJ Zweis was born in 1988 and comes from Slovenia. The electronic music was first encountered in the 15ih year. After several years of partying it was so impressed that in early 2009 began to deal with it. He started mixing house music but after a few months of finding the right music for it found its place in the progressive and deep rhythms. His sets consist mainly of deep house, progressive house and deep techno. He has played with some already known Slovenian and foreign names such as Alex Gaudino, Richard Murray, Paul Doinghton, Mike Vale, Martelli, Sylvain, Benjamin Begovic, Gumja, Lexis, Omega Drive, Skymate, Alex Cvetkov, G8, Rustia White, Claus Cotini,, Drawle, Lomas and many others. In 2009, he joined the English team Chance Recordings Agency and the Slovenian Eclectronik Revolution (where he is one of the main functions), and in 2010 he joined the team EOS-u (Exploration of Sound). In the middle of 2011, he applied to Preparty DJ competition, where he won 1st place in the Ljubljana region and 2nd place in Slovenia. Rite now I'm doing everything on the computer and Numark mixtrack Pro usb controller but I used to use two techniques 1200 turntables and a numark mixer nothing fancy just basic dj equipment
